About
VDIT is keen in providing sufficient time and facilities for sports and gymnasium. A physical Director takes care of physical fitness and sporting needs of student. A well- equipped gym is available. VDIT Has facilities for indoor games like table tennis, carom, chess, etc. and for outdoor games such as volleyball, foot ball, Hand ball as well as Kho-Kho, Basketball, Cricket, Athletics and Net Ball etc.

- Our college Net Ball team participated in VTU single zone (state level) inter collegiate Net Ball tournament held at KLE CET Chikodi from 5th to 6th Oct 2015, College Menes team won II place.
- Our college Volley ball team participated in VTU Belagavi zone inter collegiate Volley ball tournament held at TCE Gadag, from 29th Feb to 01st March 2016 and won III place.
- Our college wrestling team participated in VTU single zone (state level) inter collegiate Wrestling championship 2015-16,held at MVJC Bengaluru from 19th to 20th Oct 2015, Our college team won championship 2015-16.
- Our college VTU, Cash award of Rs.1, 00,000/- for their Sports achievements for the year 2014-15.
