Affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and recognized under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956, KLS VDIT has been a center of quality technical education for over two decades. With six undergraduate and two postgraduate programs in core engineering disciplines, the institute continues to play a significant role in shaping competent and socially responsible engineers.
We take immense pride in the fact that seven of our departments have been recognized as Research Centers by VTU, reflecting our deep commitment to research and academic advancement. Our ‘A’ Grade accreditation by NAAC in the very first cycle is a testament to our relentless pursuit of educational excellence, innovation, and institutional development.
Spread across a 28-acre eco-friendly campus, KLS VDIT places a strong emphasis on sustainability. Our green initiatives, such as a single-use plastic-free environment, solar rooftop systems and a dedicated Sewage Treatment Plant, stand as a model of responsible infrastructure and environmental consciousness.
KLS VDIT has consistently fostered a vibrant learning environment, encouraging innovation through the publication of 30+ patents, and supporting academic growth with access to over 1400 online courses. With more than ₹100 lakhs in research and development funding in the past three years, and 30+ active industry-academia collaborations with top organizations like Toyota, Volvo, Royal Enfield, CISCO, Infosys Springboard, BITES, CII, and others, our students are well-prepared to thrive in an evolving professional landscape.
