ELIGIBILITY FOR SEEKING ADMISSION TO THE B.E. 1ST SEMESTER THROUGH CET AND MANAGEMENT QUOTA

Must have passed 12th class exam or second year pre university or equivalent

Must have compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology/Electronics/Computer Science as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study

An aggregate minimum of 45% Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer marks for general category (40% for SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates) and 40% for in optional subjects in qualifying examination is required.

THE MINIMUM QUALIFICATION FOR SEEKING ADMISSION TO THE B.E. HAVING DIPLOMA IN ANY ENGINEERING DISCIPLINE

Candidate must have minimum aggregate marks 45% of V & VI semester (40% marks in case of SC/ST & OBC).

The candidates having Diploma from Karnataka and coming through CET cell are eligible for admission to 3rd semester B.E in the branch of their study in Diploma.

A candidate who is admitted to the 3rd semester will have to study bridge courses as prescribed in the syllabus supplied by VTU.
