VDIT Institute and Library & Information Center is established in the year 2004. Library is temple of knowledge, which blesses its users with the required information and helps them in enriching their knowledge. VDIT Library has its own mission to fulfilling all sorts of information needs of the student, faculty and staff of VDIT.
Now VDIT Library has separate building in campus and named as “JNAN SUDHA”. New library building “JNAN SUDHA” is inaugurated by SHRI. S.GOPALKRISHNAN (Kris) Executive Co-Chairman, Infosys Technologies Ltd, Bengaluru, and Digital Library is inaugurated by SHRI. U. RAMADAS KAMAT Associate Vice President, Infosys Technologies Ltd. Bengaluru, on 02nd June 2012. Area of the Library is 1482sqm. The Library Jnan Sudha has a collection of 23015 Books including 3045 Titles and reference books, 52 National journals and 37 International journals, Project Reports, Bound Volumes of journals, eResources and CDs, DVDs and we subscribing all ejournals recommended by AICTE New Delhi for amount of Rs.16,00,000=00.

Digital Library/Language Lab
Jnan Sudha has separate Browsing Center for Digital Library; it has 30 high end multimedia systems with high speed internet connectivity. Users can browse the Digital Library, e-Resources and can view multimedia resources. Jnan Sudha is also a member of DELNET. Even users can take benefit of Language Lab, they can learn English, German, French and Japanese and other languages. It is kept open for 8.00AM. to 8.00PM.
